The healthcare system in the United States is broken. Cost of insurance premiums for those that qualify are too high to afford and those that don’t qualify for any coverage are left out in the cold with nowhere to turn. The uninsured community is faced with the challenges of finding ways to access much needed medical care, medications and even surgeries that won’t cause financial distress to their family.
